For starters, they should NOT have let her stay in the first place. While I’m not discounting the fact that I completely understand their reason for this but it was everything that happened afterwards I was mad about.
I got a call once I got to work that her heartworm shot had expired (which I didn’t realize) and they weren’t allowed to have her near the other dogs so they would leave her in one of their cages for the rest of the day (so heartbreaking!). One day I had brought her in and everything was perfectly fine they had no issues letting her in. I would have no problem obtaining a note to bring in, which they told me they’d accept.
After bringing her there for quite some time my dog got very sick and by doctor’s orders I was no allowed to give her certain shots anymore and it is a requirement for all dogs that come here to bring in proof they had their shots, which is totally understandable. I used to love bringing my dog here, she always used to have an amazing time and the staff was always really nice and accommodating to her needs.
